This dialog appears when an evaluation window is active and you click the Properties button on the main application toolbar.
Each evaluation window displays at least one evaluation pane. Each evaluation pane is composed of two parts:
the tree view, containing an entry for each node in the model, possibly grouped by property values, and
the tabbed section, used to display the posterior probabilities either as bar charts or a spreadsheet, along with ordered recommendations.
Each evaluation window can contain multiple evaluation panes.
The Evaluation Window dialog is used to control all of these possible elements.
The framed controls at the bottom of the dialog control the display elements for the evaluation pane selected in the top set of controls. By default, there is only one evaluation pane and the top controls will automatically select that pane.
The Model/Diagram drop-down list lets you choose which of the currently active model diagrams is shown in the evaluation pane.
The Group By drop-down list lets you choose which of the properties of each node is used to group the entries in the tree view. The default is "MS_Name", which represents the name of the node.
The other controls work as follows:
Show Evidence. This check box controls whether the titles of the tree view entries are changed to reflect evidence settings.
View Nodes. This check box controls whether the tree view area is visible or not.
View Tabs. This check box controls whether the tabbed area is visible or not.
Allow Evidence Change. This check box controls whether model evidence can be changed using the evaluation pane's context menu in the tree view area.
Pane Ratio. This number is used to determine the relative ratio of space allocated to the tree view and tabbed areas. It is defined as the width of the tree view area divided by the width of the whole area allocated to the evaluation pane.
Initial Tab. This drop-down list determines which tab is initial visible when a new evaluation pane is added to the evaluation window.
The upper controls in the dialog allow you to add addition models to the same evaluation window. By changing the numbers labeled "Number of Rows" and "Number of Columns", you add or delete evaluation panes and control the tiling of new panes.
The rest of the dialog controls the appearance and behavior of the evaluation pane or panel indicated by the Panel drop-down list.
